What a great show!

The Gateway Wedding Show was amazing! I'm so glad I got to meet so many of the people that have been writing me and checking out my site and blog. It was so fun to have people already know me because they'd been to my website. I'm also really looking forward to your weddings. We are going to have so much fun.

I thought I'd post some pictures of my booth because I'm lovin' my new logo and all my new printed material. So here's a little peek at all the new cool stuff I've been working on for this show. I totally loved the runway show that Justina McCaffrey Haute Couture put on! It was amazing. Her designs are so gorgeous. I posted my favorite dress below. It's got this beautiful vintage blue fabric that makes it totally incredible. I posted it in color and black and white. I love the color of the dress and I love how the black and white totally shows off the design and texture.

I had so much fun at this show. Thanks to Brian and Todd for making the show a huge success. They do a great job taking it to the next level with every show. We got to go out to dinner after the show with some really fun people and had a great time. Alta Moda Bridal was responsible for bringing David McCaffrey to the show. It was great getting to know them. I'm amazed at what they've done in one short year. We also had a great time with Bry Cox. He does some stinking amazing portraiture! We all laughed a lot and had great food.

The Dress!

Sweet little boy

I met Stacey and Kent at the Ogden Farmer's Market last summer. (If you haven't been you can't miss the fun or the home town feel of it all. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning. It's on 25th Street in Ogden.) We hit it off the moment we met and I have so loved getting to document their changing family. We did an amazing pregnancy session and then followed up with this very sweet session just days after Ashlun was born.

The other day I went and did his 6 month session and was amazed at how much he has changed. Keep watching for his newest session to be posted soon. Since you're going to see how totally cute he is in a little while I thought I'd post a peek into his first days of life. Stacey and Kent are amazing parents. They are so relaxed and so into Ashlun and love and acceptance and making a very happy home for him to grow up in. I can't begin to say how cool they are. Right after this shoot back in December they had some pretty scary weeks with Ashlun and I thought this song was perfect. After Ashlun's session last week we all sat down together and watched this slideshow from 6 months ago...I can't say I didn't get a little choked up...

Brittney and Justin

We had the perfect, gorgeous summer morning for our shoot. We decided to get together early and take advantage of the gorgeous light and quiet park and shore by the reservoir. It was totally worth it.

Brittney and Justin have been together for a very long time and have made it through HS graduation, years apart, and eating Mexican food together (one of my personal faves). We had so much fun relaxing by the water, laughing, spinning, and doing self-portraits. :) Justin and Brittney and their families are totally into boating...so we're thinking about doing a 'we did' shoot out on one of their boats after they get married. We've got to get the boat! :)

Gateway Wedding Show

You won't want to miss the Gateway Wedding Show this Saturday, June 24th! You can check it out here. It is from 10am -4pm in the Grand Ballroom.

I am so excited about the show and the fun atmosphere. This show promises to be an especially great event. The International Bridal Gown Designer from Justina McCaffery is going to be there putting on a runway and trunk show. It's going to be incredible. If you are still trying to plan your wedding or know of someone who is make sure to be at the Gateway Wedding Show on Saturday. I'll be there! Look for my logo sign and a big umbrella. Can't wait to see you there!

Jenna and David

I am sooo excited about Jenna and David's wedding. It is going to be so amazing... the location as well as the chance to take some pictures at a place that feels like it's the top of the world. They are a great couple and as you can see...it's easy to get great pictures of them.

I had so much fun with them scouting out great location spots for their wedding photos. I also had mussels for the first time-they are so good! Thanks for a fun time. I'm looking forward to seeing you in July!

A Mad-Hatter Party

The day started with Ronda and I at the salon. We got done much sooner than we expected and grabbed some lunch together at Noodles and Company. I totally love hanging out with Ronda. She is non-stop fun.

When we got to The Deveraux House and the flowers were there Ronda was so excited. Everytime she saw something new that made her dream come true she would start crying. She was loving every minute. Knowing how much Michael loves all things Disney she went to extra efforts to have a boutinerre made for him that looked like a Mickey Mouse head, had a Mad-Hatter theme, and promised a trip to DisneyLand.

I think one of the highlights of their vow-renewal was the surprise that Michael had planned for Ronda. She had no idea. The surprise on her face when he pulled out a gorgeous new ring for her was priceless.

These two are amazing together. It was such a fun day. I am so blessed to have gotten to be there. The ceremony was so cool because they have been married for 10 years already. The things they already do for each other because they love each other are sweet. They make sacrifices to help the other be happy, they compromise on the things that will help their love grow, and they support each other in the things the other loves. And they promised to keep doing it all....

Here's to love and come what may!
