Ashlun



I have been taking pictures of Ashlun since he was just a few days old and he is now a year old. Time goes by so quickly! I love and look forward to every shoot I have with Ashlun and his parents. We have a great time!

Oh so sweet!

When I was hanging out with this sweet little family I knew that we were getting some amazing images. I wasn't prepared for these once I got a chance to go through them.

Ashlun is such a sweet and happy baby. I know he gets it from his parents. I look forward to seeing them every time we have a shoot. They have a really great energy and happiness about them...it's so easy to capture them and their life. I have been so blessed to know them. I can't wait for Ashlun's nine months to get here...although I'm sure Kent and Stacey just want it all to slow down. :)

Sweet little boy

I met Stacey and Kent at the Ogden Farmer's Market last summer. (If you haven't been you can't miss the fun or the home town feel of it all. It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning. It's on 25th Street in Ogden.) We hit it off the moment we met and I have so loved getting to document their changing family. We did an amazing pregnancy session and then followed up with this very sweet session just days after Ashlun was born.

The other day I went and did his 6 month session and was amazed at how much he has changed. Keep watching for his newest session to be posted soon. Since you're going to see how totally cute he is in a little while I thought I'd post a peek into his first days of life. Stacey and Kent are amazing parents. They are so relaxed and so into Ashlun and love and acceptance and making a very happy home for him to grow up in. I can't begin to say how cool they are. Right after this shoot back in December they had some pretty scary weeks with Ashlun and I thought this song was perfect. After Ashlun's session last week we all sat down together and watched this slideshow from 6 months ago...I can't say I didn't get a little choked up...
