Christmas + Workshop=Perfect Christmas Gift
For the photography lover in your life!
I am hosting a workshop at my brand new studio in January! This workshop is for anyone who loves photography and wants to know what the next step is. Be prepared to get into new creative places no matter what your skill level. We will take a look at some of the masters of photography, I will share the ways I get inspired before a shoot, and you will start to see light, shadows, angles, and emotion in new ways. You'll need to bring your cameras because this is all about the hands on process of photography. We will have a photo shoot, critique and a lot of fun. You can't miss this!
The workshop will be held on January 27th, 2007 from 10am-6pm and includes an entire day of eating, drinking, and living photography, lunch at the delicious Rooster's on Historic 25th Street, and a new perspective.
Register quickly there are only 10 spaces available.
Complete workshop fee $500.

Sounds like fun Davina,
New Studio? This is the first time any of us have heard about this. Do tell more.
wow Davina this is such exciting news!
I think anyone who wants to expand their creativity in photography should deffinetly attend Davina's workshop. I experienced it first hand shooting with her - she is the QUEEN of creativity and im still trying to analyze and apply everything she taught me!
Oh, to be close to your studio! I wish I could go.
Aw man I wish I could come!!!
Hey Greg! I would love to have you! The workshop is going to be a combination of a few different things. I'll be posting a schedule in the next couple of days. The workshop is for the photographer who just has fun taking pictures as well as for a more advanced photographer. We will be spending a little bit of time at in the first hour of the workshop where we'll be talking about camera basics, depth of field, f-stop, etc. After that though we're going to get inspired by the masters of photograpy. From there we'll go through the process of becoming inspired, and then go out and shoot some conceptual shoots and practice creating and seeing great moments. We'll save time at the end to gather back together and go through a critique of the work we shot as well as point out all the things we've done right all day. Each person will get to schedule a 30 minute follow up session (in person or on the phone) with me with in the six months after the workshop. It's going to be fun and totally change the way you're shooting right now...no matter who you are...a casual photographer who goes out and has fun with their camera, a new, excited about photography person who just got a camera, to the person who is a professional but just wants to get the juices flowing again.
I'd love to have you, Greg and any one else. I've already had a large number of people requesting registration forms and they'll be going out first thing tomorrow. Make sure and sign up soon. I don't want you to miss it!
this is sure to be a great investment. congrats, Davina!
I would really, really, love to come to your workshop, but I live in Kansas. Do you think that you will have one later in the year? I could plan and hopefully come to that one. I admire your work, and I am just beginning, so it would be awesome. Just a thought. Laura
Congrats Davina! Tell me all about it when we chat in Vegas! Oh, my Purple Cow will be revealed soon-hehe!
Tom was already starting to look at flights when we realized that your workshop occurs over the only weekend in January when we have a wedding.
Please tell me you will do this again? The seminar, the price, the location...all great.
Thanks
Vicki
