The Perfect Wedding Day

Ticey and Shane got married on about the best weather day of the year so far, I think. It was gorgeous, a little bit warm, and sunny. Ticey and Shane are such a fun couple. They've known each other for most of their life and you can tell by how comfortable they are with each other. I had so much fun with them! The Union Station in Ogden was transformed by Matt Dickamore. (Matt is incredible! If you want more info just let me know in the comments or send me an email at davina@davinafear.com ).

As an event designer, I always try to create a beautiful environment for every wedding I do. Each design as unique as the couple it surrounds. Once the decor is complete, moments before the couple arrives, I hand over "my baby" to the photographer to capture the moments and elements that will give the bride and groom a lasting memory of their special day. Some photographers I worry about their ability to do so and dread the day the photos are ready. Knowing Davina and having worked with her before, I "handed over" Ticey and Shane's reception with complete confidence in her and her work. I knew that she would make my design look like a million bucks! Her eye for detail has captured my work in ways that have surprised me. She can find the moments that will make one cry, laugh, and sigh that sigh of love. Thanks Davina -- You're Great!!!

You are too kind! What nice things for you to say. I so love working with you. I know that when you are going to be at a wedding it is going to be absolutely incredible!! You really do some amazing work and Ticey and Shane's wedding was no exception. What you managed to do with Union Station really blew everyone away! I hope I get to work with you a lot more in the future! You are stinkin' awesome, not to mention fun! :)
